Return of the Scouts
Today we’d like to officially announce… the return of The Scout Saga! This is a series which began back in 2009, with three episodes. Each episode revolves around the a group of kids who are part of the Scouts movement, the antics they get up to wherever they go.
The second series began in July 2010, with the first episode “Game Night”, and it has been on hiatus ever since then. We are proud to announce a return of the series, starting from scratch with Season Two. Yep, this means we’re scrapping “Game Night” and starting it all again.
Season Two will feature a brand-new series of stories and new characters. It has been a while since the first series concluded, so time to start again with change.
We’re currently brainstorming new ideas and deciding how many episodes to make this series. We’ll be working hard to get started over the next few months, so until then… stay tuned!
Equipment Updates
Okay, we’d just like to let you know why we’re not uploading videos. Ever since we voiced the New Year’s Day video, we noticed that there is a horrible spluttering noise in the background, behind the voice. And ONLY behind the voice. Which means our ancient three-year-old microphone just isn’t cutting it.
So we’ve decided to put our Mac to good use. It will now be what we use to voice record with, using some special software that will remove background noise. We may also use it for some music creation with GarageBand and all, but you know, we’ll sort all that out when the time comes.
Anyway, so we’re switching to Mac for the voices, and we’re also investing in a brand-new microphone for the studio. One that doesn’t make spluttering noises and fart in your ears when you play it back. Anyway, we’re currently awaiting payment from our videos, so once we receive that it’ll be on-order ASAP. Then we’ll be able to get straight back into video-production for all you sick puppies!
Now, just so you know, I will be taking holidays from the 14th-21st January. So no new videos then, unless we schedule one with a delayed release. We’ll see what happens. Good day to you all!

Our YouTube Partnership
It’s official. Something we’ve been dreaming about for the past three years. It’s come true. We are now a YouTube Partner.
While we’ve had our “monetization account” enabled for a few months now, we’ve only just been approved and entered into the YouTube Partner Programme, which incidentally we received an email about a few weeks ago, encouraging us to apply.
WOOHOO! *insert cartwheels here* So now, we’d like to let you know that our next video will be released on 01.01.2012. New Years Day. The day which pronounces the end of an amazing year, and the exciting beginning of a new one.

Just because we haven’t uploaded a video in around 11 months, here’s a video we made last July, before the 2010 Australian Election. We thought this video had been corrupted and forgot about it, but have just recently found it again! Yay!
We know it, like the BMX Song, is very similar to the Madd Gear Song, but what the heck. At least we’re consistant, right?

Big Upgrade
You know how we use Anime Studio Pro to animate our videos and do all the awesome work for us? Well, for the past three years we’ve been working with version 5.6, without an upgrade or anything. 5.6 was released in 2008 sometime.
Anyway, the past is the past - we’ve just dropped the bucks to upgrade to the latest version: Anime Studio Pro 8. How amazing.
Compare that to this ancient one we’ve been using…
Well, the ancient one isn’t that bad. Still, it is a substantial setback compared to the current version, which is a lot more powerful. Hopefully this purchase will allow us to greatly improve aesthetic quality of our videos, and make production more streamlined. This version of the software also allows us to work on Mac, so we’re pleased about this. We may be able to switch over to Mac to produce after all - one day, maybe.
Oh, and we’d also just like to mention that we’ve crossed 125,000 total video views today. Or yesterday. One of them. WOW!
